A Regi\u00e3o Metropolitana do Recife (PE) possui potencial para expandir sua rede de transporte p\u00fablico coletivo de m\u00e9dia e alta capacidade (TPC-MAC) para at\u00e9 150 quil\u00f4metros (km), superando a malha atual de 68 km. A proje\u00e7\u00e3o consta no Estudo Nacional de Mobilidade Urbana (ENMU), realizado pelo Banco Nacional de Desenvolvimento Econ\u00f4mico e Social (BNDES) em parceria com o Minist\u00e9rio das Cidades. Com foco nas 21 regi\u00f5es metropolitanas mais populosas do pa\u00eds e horizonte de 30 anos, o levantamento estima aportes entre R$ 8,96 bilh\u00f5es e R$ 18,17 bilh\u00f5es para a capital pernambucana, visando atender 1,42 milh\u00e3o de usu\u00e1rios diariamente, reduzir em 22% o tempo m\u00e9dio de viagem e evitar 605 v\u00edtimas de tr\u00e2nsito por ano.<\/p>\n
A carteira do ENMU mapeou 187 projetos nacionais, com potencial de demandar at\u00e9 7.600 \u00f4nibus el\u00e9tricos e 2.400 carros metroferrovi\u00e1rios. Para o Recife, o plano prop\u00f5e um projeto estrutural de requalifica\u00e7\u00e3o metroferrovi\u00e1ria e cinco eixos de transporte que admitem duas alternativas de tecnologia: BRT El\u00e9trico ou VLT.<\/p>\n
Requalifica\u00e7\u00e3o Metroferrovi\u00e1ria<\/strong><\/p>\n
O projeto prev\u00ea a Requalifica\u00e7\u00e3o do Metr\u00f4 Linhas Centro e Sul e dos Trens urbanos Diesel. A interven\u00e7\u00e3o abrange 37,70 km de extens\u00e3o, com uma proje\u00e7\u00e3o de 257.299 embarques di\u00e1rios e valor nominal total fixado em R$ 3.344,10 milh\u00f5es para o ciclo inicial de investimentos.<\/p>\n
